About Me.
I have had the great fortune of working on some truly inspiring projects while furthering my education and strengthening my skills. I believe in the power of working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
I am a born and raised Texan. I spent the first 18 years growing up in San Antonio. I moved to the DFW area in 2016 to attend UNT. I have bounced from career idea to career idea and been to school off and on. I have searching for the perfect career that allows me to be creative, impactful and still have structure. My soul searching and research led me to software engineering and so I decided to go back to school. I made the decision to go back to school after the pandemic when things were opening back up and after I no longer lived in Denton.
My journey then takes me to transferring to DeVry University. I have been attending and working full time to support myself and my wife. Through it all I have gained so much real life experience of managing stress, time, and learning to prioritize. Going to school and working full time has continued to strengthen my skills that I started building at the age of 16 when I had my first job as a ride operator at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Through my past 10+ years of work experience I have gained phenomenal customer service, critical thinking, patience, leadership and team building skills that are transferable to just about any field. I know I am a strong asset to any team. I just need the chance to prove it.
